You’d think by now they would have seen us stretch a little ‘EACH AND EVERY TIME’ before we move around after napping, sleeping, sitting, etc. and figure out there’s a ‘reason’ for it!
It feels GREAT!
It gets things circulating and mobile again after just sitting or lying around for a while!
It gets the blood pumping, wakes up the muscles, stretches that which hasn’t been moved in a while and is ALSO QUITE FUN!”
“Oh yes, Dogananda . . . Quite FUN!”
“And I, for one, think it’s quite FUNNY to watch humans who don’t stretch naturally but take the time to go somewhere for a yoga class where they pretend to be a CAT and arch their backs, or do something called Downward Facing Dog!
Why don’t they just PLAY like you do in the morning as you happily bounce around the yard?”
“Yes, that feels so good, but not nearly as GREAT as bouncing around at the edge of the ocean or a lake . . . or charging into a stream!
“And rolling in the grass or dirt . . . now that’s HEAVENLY BLISS!”

Humans should try it more often . . . just play in the water and dirt! Get down and dirty and then stand under a hose to clean off!”
Or run quickly from tree to tree and hug a tree just like we do when we scratch or stretch on it!”
