As they nestled into the tree branches and looked upward, Jena pointed to a long pathway of stars arched across the sky.  A pathway that looked a little foggy in parts.  “See that!” she said.  “It’s the Milky Way—the galaxy this Earth is part of.  And over there, that group of stars that looks like a little dipper is my favorite!  They’re called the Pleiades.”

 

“The what?” Michael asked.

 

“The Plee –A – Dees.” Jena slowly pronounced.  “Some people call them the Seven Sisters, even though there are really more than seven of them.  And those three stars in a row over there are Orion’s Belt.  And the rest of Orion is . . .  is . . .”  

 

Jena stopped short as she looked over at Michael.  His mouth was hanging wide open.  His eyes were wide open with excitement.  

 

“What’s the matter with you?” Jena quizzed.  “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

 

 “I saw . . . I saw that one in my dream last night.” Michael stuttered.

 

“Saw what one?” Jena asked, as her heart pitter-pattered with feelings and questions raced across her mind.

 

“That BUNCH of stars!  The ones you called the Plee – A – Dees!” Michael shouted.  “It was a real strange dream too.  Everything was topsy-turvy!  Everything was . . .”
